Canada-Wide Incentive

Canada’s Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit (CTITC)

The Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit (CTITC) offers Canadian businesses a 30% federal tax credit on the cost of new solar installations. This incentive drastically reduces the upfront costs of adopting solar energy, enabling companies to offset their tax liability as they transition to renewable energy. With a 10-year limit to use these credits, the CTITC makes solar energy more financially attractive.

Canada-Wide Incentive

Accelerated Capital Cost Allowance (ACCA)

The Accelerated Capital Cost Allowance (ACCA) allows businesses to deduct 50% of their solar equipment costs each year on a declining balance basis, with the option for a 100% first-year deduction if installed before 2028. This accelerated write-off provides a faster return on investment by allowing substantial tax savings, making solar energy projects financially viable and appealing for Canadian businesses aiming to reduce energy costs and enhance sustainability.
